Peter:

I write about nature, biodiversity and how people globally are adapting to climate change.

It’s easy to despair when confronted by the seemingly impossible task of preventing or curbing global heating.  Adapting to the changes is our only hope.

I’ve spent over 25 years with my business partner running a sustainability consultancy, Context, working with businesses around the world to manage their social and environmental challenges. Before that, I wrote on sustainability for the business press, after campaigning with Greenpeace against whaling and other environmental crimes.

Sophie:

Using water, paper, pigment and clay, I make works that are about time.  They’re reflections in tranquility that try to capture the fleeting moment and consider what endures.  They hold in tension light and shadow; fragility and strength.

For more than 25 years, as a producer of television and drama and arts, I told stories – a fundamentally collaborative process of shaping narratives in pictures, words and music.

From time to time I return to words and write about art – mostly art photography; I commission stories about pictures… and sometimes I pen a tale or two of my own, which I share here.
